How to change device settings

You can access the device settings before joining Studio at the Camera and Mic check screen or inside Studio near the camera and mic controls.

Device Settings

The Settings window lets you configure additional settings for
  1. Video
  2. Audio
  3. Virtual Background

Video Settings

Under the Video settings, you can take the following actions:
  1. Select your Camera source from the list of video capture devices detected on your system. If your system has a built-in camera, that will be selected as a default option.
If no input is detected/selected, the video capture frame shows an icon of the first letter of your Full name.
  1. Select your Video Resolution from the following options:
    • Standard Definition (360p)
    • High Definition (720p)
    • Full HD (1080p)

Audio Settings

Under the Audio settings you can take following actions:
  1. Select your Audio Input source from the all the audio capture sources detected on your device. Defaults to your device’s built-in microphone.
The audio level indicator helps you monitor your volume. As a rule of thumb, try to keep the levels below the red markers.
  1. Select your Audio Output source from the all the audio output sources detected on your device. Defaults to your device’s built-in speakers.
  2. Click Test Speakers to listen a sample audio playback and to test your speaker output.

Virtual Background

Under the Virtual Background settings you can take the following actions:
  1. Choose the Background Blur option to blur the background area in your video feed.
  2. Select a background image from the list of available images.
  3. Upload your own background image from your device.
