3. Event-level Settings - Export Integration
An event-level integration is required to pass all event-specific user data captured by Zuddl to HubSpot.
- Inside the event/webinar settings, go to Integrations from the side navigation.
On the HubSpot card, click the Customize link on the Export card.
- Under the Custom activities tab, toggle on the activities that you want the integration to pass to your HubSpot account.

Custom Contact field mapping
- Select a custom field in the Zuddl registration fields dropdown.
Choose a suitable Contact field from the Contact fields dropdown.
- You can control the sync action for each field by choosing a Field update policy.
- Do not update: This option does not pass the Zuddl field value to the mapped HubSpot field.
- Always update: This option always passes the Zuddl field value to the mapped HubSpot field.
- Do not update if source is empty: If the Zuddl field value is empty, this option does not pass the value of the Zuddl field to the mapped HubSpot field.
Only update if target is empty: If the HubSpot Contact field value is empty, this option passes the Zuddl field value only in this case.
Note: For the ‘Do not update’ option, existing Contacts will not be updated but new Contacts will still be created.
To map more fields, click the + Add field button and follow the same steps as discussed above.
Note: The disabled field mappings are the org-level field mapped and shown here for reference.
- Click Save. This saves the integration settings for exporting registrant data.
On the confirmation pop-up, click Confirm. This creates a Marketing event in HubSpot with all event details and passes all the event data collected till now.
- The integration allows passing the following fields for all registration as activities apart from registration fields
- Ticket type: If the event is ticketed, the name of the ticket type is passed in the registration activity in Hubspot Contact.
- UTM Parameters: Urchin Tracking Module data(UTM Source, UTM Medium, UTM Campaign, UTM Term, UTM Content, and UTM Id)
- Ip data (Ip City and Ip Country): Ip details
- Attendee Type: This fields is useful for onsite events to distinguish between Virtual and In-person attendance.
Optional. You can sync the time spent activities by attendees in your Zuddl event. Syncing the first time will sync the whole data even when before the integration was set up, you can click the Sync button on top next to the integration toggle.
Note: Sync option already existing data for your event/webinar. Once used, this option does not show up again. Ensure that you use this option once you have mapped all relevant fields.
Note:
- Ensure that both Zuddl and HubSpot object fields have compatible data types. If fields with incorrect data types are mapped, registration and activity data will be lost.
- Once the integration is turned on, the integration status changes to Active on the Export section as shown below.
Now, on your HubSpot account, go to Contacts > Contacts. Click on the view changer dropdown and select Marketing events.
In the below screenshot, a new event “Acme Global Meet” has been added to the list of Marketing events under.
To view the event-level details click on the event/webinar name. On the right side menu, the event/webinar details such as event/webinar name, organization name (Organizer), start and end time (HubSpot account timezone), number of registered users, and other details get populated as shown in the screenshot below
View the attendee activity
- On your HubSpot account, go to Contact > Contacts.
- Click on a particular contact name to view the details
- Inside the contact details page, under the Activity tab, click Filter activity and select the Zuddl checkbox under Integrations. This will start showing all the Zuddl activities in a particular format.
Each activity is shown as an individual record with the activity details in a particular format as shown below:
